“AVTOROS” participates in the meeting of “SOYUZ MS-13”
On February 6, 2020, near the village of Zhezgazgan of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the spacecraft Soyuz MS-13 will land.
The crew of the cosmonauts:
Alexander Skvortsov (Russia)
Luca Parmitano (Italy)
Christina Cook (USA)
The expedition started on July 20, 2019 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on the “Soyuz-FG” launch vehicle and their space travel is coming to an end.
The rescue operation will be held in the snowy steppes of Kazakhstan, the aim is to meet the spacecraft and provide live broadcast of its landing for the MCC. Especially for this operation, “AVTOROS” built the all-terrain vehicle “Shaman” in the colors of the Russian flag and with the internal layout for the installation and transportation of filming equipment. The “AVTOROS” team, together with the crew of RSC Energia, go to the landing site in advance, to conduct joint training.
The task of the all-terrain vehicle crew is to deliver the camera crew of the Mission Control Center to the landing site , who will broadcast live video of the landing. Further, all videos will be used by other news channels.
This will be the third participation in such a responsible mission for the “AVTOROS”company.
